Following on from that we had a group of 13 students who qualified for the Beachside Division Carnival, on the Tuesday 30th August. Those students were Polly Deane-Johns (high-jump, 200m, relay), Sophia Hanlon (800m, 1500m, relay), Felicity Hickey (hurdles, relay), Dannah Casanova (relay), Emma Sheeran (long jump), Rupert Kidman (shot put), Jake McPhee (long jump), Jacob Fielding (hurdles), Macy Priamo (long jump, relay), Zara Moore (discus, relay), Claudia Visentini (relay), Alessia Terzigni (relay) and Hudson Kahan (100m). Due to injury and absence Sara Taylor and Trecia Silawan stepped into the relay team on the day. All students competed brilliantly in what is a very tough division and made the school extremely proud.

Huge congratulations to Polly and Jake who won their individual event and will now compete at the Southern Metropolitan Region aths in October.
